The 750-354 EtherCAT Fieldbus Coupler connects EtherCAT to the modular WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM.

The fieldbus coupler automatically adjusts to create a local process image that can include analog, digital or custom modules. Analog and special module data are sent in words and/or bytes; Digital data is sent in the form of bits.

The "upper" EtherCAT interface connects the coupler to the network. The "bottom" RJ-45 socket connects additional EtherCAT devices to the same line.

EtherCAT ^® (Ethernet Control Automation Technology) is a real-time ETHERNET solution designed for industrial automation applications and known for high performance, flexible topology and simple configuration. With EtherCAT ^® the costly ETHERNET star topology can be replaced with a simple line or tree structure.
