Short description:

This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 system to the sercos network. It determines the structure of the station and produces the necessary process images of configured inputs and outputs. The station installation may include a mixed arrangement of analog, digital and complex I/O modules. The fieldbus coupler application allows accessing the device as a sercos I/O device in the network. Sercos service channel (SVC), real-time channel (RTC) and IP channel (NRT) are supported for standard TCP/IP communication.

Two integrated ETHERNET ports allow easy line and ring construction without the need for additional components. Each port supports Auto MDI/MDI-X and automatically detects the transmission direction, allowing the use of both optical interconnect cables and crossover cables.

Assignment of the Sercos address is done via switch 10 using either the control panel (switches) or software (non-volatile memory). It also has 8 digital inputs to receive binary signals from the fieldbus coupler, switches and sensors.
