Fieldbus Coupler CANopen; MCS; ECO; Light greyThe ECO fieldbus coupler is designed for applications with low-scale I/O requirements. By using only digital process data or a small amount of analog data, all the options offered by the 750 I/O Series are preserved. The coupler has an integrated supply terminal for system voltage. Field power bridge contacts are fed through a separate supply module. The CANopen bus coupler can support all I/O modules and automatically adjust them, creating a local process image. The local process image is divided into two data regions: received data and data to be sent. Process data can be sent to the PLC, PC or NC via CANopen fieldbus for further processing and received from the field via CANopen. The data of the analog modules is stored in the PDOs in the order in which the modules are connected to the bus coupler. The bits of the digital modules are sent as bytes and are also mapped in PDOs. If the amount of digital information exceeds 8 bits, the bus coupler automatically starts with a new byte. All entries of the object dictionary can be mapped into 5 Rx PDO and 5 Tx PDO according to the user's wishes. The entire input and output process image can be transmitted using SDOs.
