Fieldbus Coupler CANopen; MCS; Wide. heat; -This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM as a slave to the CANopen fieldbus. Module data is transmitted using PDOs and SDOs. The bus coupler recognizes all connected I/O modules and creates a local process image based on this. Analog and special module data are sent in words and/or bytes; Digital data is sent in the form of bits. The local process image is divided into two data regions: received data and data to be sent. Process data can be sent to a control system via the CANopen bus for further processing. Process output data can be sent via the CANopen bus. The data of the analog modules is stored in the PDOs in the order in which the modules are connected to the bus coupler. The bits of the digital modules are sent as bytes and are also mapped in PDOs. If the amount of digital information exceeds 8 bits, the bus coupler automatically starts with a new byte.
