Fieldbus Coupler CANopen; MCS; Light greyThis bus coupler connects the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM as a slave to the CANopen fieldbus. Module data is transmitted using PDOs and SDOs. The bus coupler automatically adjusts to create a local process image that can include analog, digital or custom modules. Analog and special module data are sent in words and/or bytes; Digital data is sent in the form of bits. The local process image is divided into two data regions: received data and data to be sent. Process data can be sent to the PLC, PC or NC via CANopen fieldbus for further processing and received from the field via CANopen. The data of the analog modules is stored in the PDOs in the order in which the modules are connected to the bus coupler. The bits of the digital modules are sent as bytes and are also mapped in PDOs. If the amount of digital information exceeds 8 bits, the bus coupler automatically starts with a new byte. All entries of the object dictionary can be mapped in 32 Rx PDO and 32 Tx PDO according to the user's wishes. The entire input and output process image can be transmitted using SDOs.
