PROFIBUS DP Fieldbus Coupler; 2nd generation; 12MBd; Light grey


This bus coupler connects WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM I/O modules to PROFIBUS DP.

At startup, the bus coupler determines the module structure of the node to create the process image in PROFIBUS. To optimize addresses, I/O modules with bit widths less than 8 are grouped into one byte.

It is also possible to disable I/O modules and change the node image in accordance with the connected signals without having to change the existing application.

The fault diagnosis concept is based on EN 50170. Therefore, modules do not need to be programmed to interpret each manufacturer's diagnostic information.
