The termination module is also the matching part for the 750-627. Plug the connecting cable into the upper RJ-45 socket to establish a logical connection to the fieldbus coupler/controller via the termination module 750-627. The expansion is completely transparent to the fieldbus coupler/controller. All functions of the I/O module system are retained without any changes. Additional expansion to the system is provided by the lower RJ-45 socket. This allows the entire system to be expanded in 10 stages. The supply voltage of the field side and internal electronics can be supplied separately. Both levels are electrically isolated from each other. Two diagnostic LEDs provide information on both the internal and field side supply voltage. Two LEDs on the input socket indicate error-free communication with the bus coupler. The expansion module can also be used as the last coupler module in the system (turn on the matching resistor) or as a bridge between two I/O modules.
