Security systems 1:
The permissible working voltage of the terminal with adapter (440 V or 275 V) depends on the installation method.
Security systems 2:
Only approved in conjunction with mounting adapter (221‑501). Other adapters are possible, see certificate/file. The terminals must be installed in a housing that meets the requirements of a recognized type of protection according to EN 60079-0, Section 1 or EN 60079-31 When installing the terminals in a housing with increased safety protection type “eb” according to EN 60079-7, the clearance and creepage distances according to Table 2 of this standard must be observed. Regarding the use of accessories, see point 1. The terminals are available in both group II as well as in Group I, since the standard requirements are identical in this case.
The use of this component requires a new assessment by a notified body.
