The WINSTA® KNX cable assembly 2-pole provides the foundation for assembly of solid and fine-stranded conductors. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to many different requirements in no time flat. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (Only when mated and secured with a strain relief housing (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas.)). The KNX protocol allows different equipment within one building system to be linked. A WINSTA® KNX pluggable installation connector with E coding, like all coded pluggable installation connectors, allows blind mating. E coding is often used for an auxiliary power supply, for example in I/O devices. Scrupulous compliance with fire protection regulations is an important issue for building installation. Especially in sensitive areas, the fire class must meet or even exceed legal requirements. This product complies with the requirements of fire class C. In the production of this cable assembly, halogens were deliberately omitted. That is an important contribution to climate protection.
