The pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology function entirely without screw connections. For greater security in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). The WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connector with A coding in white or black is usually used for general mains applications in power distribution. This pluggable installation connector is used for electrical currents up to 20 A. Thus the product is especially suitable for high power loads. The WINSTA® MIDI product line allows flexibility for the installation. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it ensures time-saving, error-free installation and offers flexibility for meeting various installation requirements. Building safety must be ensured at all times, even after the electrical installation stage. The safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are fully satisfied by this product through fire class D. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen. That is an important contribution to climate protection.
