The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection against mismating provides the foundation for assembly of solid and fine-stranded conductors. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are useful when requirements repeat or are distributed on a defined grid, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers touch-proof protection with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). The WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connector with A coding in black or white is normally used for general mains applications in power distribution. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates safe electrification. Due to the included test slot, it is possible to check connections even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and expense. If you need to satisfy stricter safety standards, you should use cables with fire class C. These are suitable for use in buildings with preferably high demands on safety. The cable assembly is halogen-free. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also achieves a higher fire class, since halogen-free materials are flame-resistant.
