The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). The WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connector with A coding in black or white is usually used for general mains applications in power distribution. This pluggable installation connector is designed for a current load of up to 20 A. Therefore, it can also be used for high power loads. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates exemplary electrification. Thanks to the included test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. This saves time, labor, and money. Building safety must be ensured at all times, even after the electrical installation stage. The safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are met by this product through fire class D. Not using halogen additives in the manufacture of this cable assembly significantly improves fire safety and minimises environmental pollution.
