The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 supports fast, reliable installation. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers touch-proof protection with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Regulated lighting, as implemented in the DALI standard, for instance, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates safe electrification. Thanks to the integrated test slot, it is possible to check connections even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and costs. If you need to meet stricter safety standards, you should use cables with fire class C. These are suitable for use in buildings with particularly high demands on safety. In the production of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen. This is an important contribution to environmental protection.
