The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 supports fast, reliable installation. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to a huge variety of requirements in no time flat. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). I coding in blue is used to mark WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors, which are used above all in automation of buildings for controlling lighting. This pluggable installation connector can be used for electrical currents up to 20 A. Thus the product is ideally suitable for high power loads. Our WINSTA® MIDI product line guarantees flexibility for the installation. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it achieves error-free, time-saving installation and offers flexibility for meeting an enormous variety of installation requirements. Building safety must be ensured at all times, even after the electrical installation stage. The safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are met by this product through fire class D. Not using halogen additives in the production of this cable assembly significantly increases fire safety and minimises environmental contamination.
