Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismating

The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection against mismating allows assembly of fine-stranded and solid conductors. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to a huge variety of requirements in no time flat. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). I coding in blue is used to label WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors, which are used primarily in automation of buildings for controlling lighting. This pluggable installation connector is used for electrical currents up to 20 A. Thus the product is ideally suitable for high power loads. Our WINSTA® MIDI product line allows maximum flexibility for the electrical installation. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it achieves time-saving, error-free installation and offers customization and flexibility for meeting all installation requirements. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used in construction is critical for building safety, too. For houses with safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class D are suitable. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen. This is an important contribution to climate protection.
