The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly I coding provides the foundation for installation of fine-stranded and solid conductors. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to a huge variety of requirements in next to no time. The coding options reduce installation errors, allowing fast, secure wiring of all components. The pluggable installation connector offers touch-proof protection with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Regulated lighting equipment, as used with the DALI standard, for instance, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. This pluggable installation connector is used for electrical currents up to 20 A. Thus the product is especially suitable for high power loads. WINSTA® MIDI with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology is found in a broad range of individual products you can use for quick, easy and maximally flexible electrical installation. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used in construction is critical for building safety, too. For buildings with safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class D are suitable. Eliminating halogens as an additive in the manufacture of this cable assembly noticeably improves fire safety and minimises environmental pollution.
