The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 is the pluggable solution for your use in control cabinets, on PCBs or for lighting connections. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to many different requirements in next to no time. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). I coding in blue is used to mark WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors, which are used above all in building automation for activating lighting. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates safe electrification. Due to the integrated test slot, it is possible to check connections even when they are plugged in. This saves time, labor, and money. If you need to meet stricter safety standards, you should use cables with fire class B2. These are suitable for use in buildings with extremely high demands on safety. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen. That is an important contribution to environmental protection.
