A flex ROOM ® Weather distributor is connected to a weather station or various individual sensors. The measured weather data is recorded via the distributor's digital and analog inputs and made available directly/processed to other flex ROOM ® Office distributors. In addition to recording weather data, the flex ROOM ® Weather distributor also supports up to 10 timer channels, which can be used to initiate switching processes and setpoint changes for lighting, shading and individual room control (heating, cooling) on flex ROOM ® Office distributors, each time dependent. The control task is carried out by an “Application Controller BA” contained in the flex ROOM ® Weather distributor, which is preloaded with a flex ROOM ® application. The initial commissioning is carried out with WAGOupload (IP address assignment via BootPServer). Further configuration and the establishment of communication with flex ROOM ® office distributors is carried out via a standard web browser directly on the controller included in the distributor. For the connection of higher-level management stations, each flex ROOM ® -Weather distributor makes its data available in MODBUS tables, which can be read and partially written by management stations. Configuration data of the flex ROOM ® -Weather distributor can be cyclically saved either directly on the included controller or on a separate computer via a network connection. The connections of the flex ROOM ® distributor are designed using WAGO-WINSTA ® connection technology.
