The initial commissioning (IP address assignment via BootPServer) can with the PC software WAGOupload. The further configuration of the room axes (initial configuration and subsequent conversion) is carried out via a standard web browser directly on the controller installed in the distributor. Several flex ROOM ® distributors can be connected to a network via ETHERNET. Communication between the distributors is also set up using a standard web browser. Weather data, such as the outside temperature or wind alarms, can be sent from a flex ROOM ® distributor for weather stations to the flex ROOM ® distributors for further processing. For the connection of higher-level management stations, each flex ROOM ® distributor provides its data in MODBUS tables, which can be read and partially written by management stations. The configuration data of the flex ROOM ® distributors can be stored either directly on the included controller or on a separate computer via a network connection. The connections of the flex ROOM ® distributor are implemented using WAGO-WINSTA connection technology. The respective flex ROOM ® distributors differ in the number of supported room axes, in the support of special areas and in different functional scopes, which are based on the inputs and outputs used.
