1) In the case of muting applications for which the MSL was used with the MSM module, M4000 Advanced with UE403 is to be used for the replacement. The M4000 Advanced models included in the MSL upgrade kit have no integrated LED muting lamp.
2) For the M4000, the scanning range can be configured and therefore replaces MSL systems with both shorter and long ranges.
